The Role:

Working closely with the CEO and Chief of Service Excellence, you will be responsible for leading a team of SREs ensuring great service delivery and continuous process improvement related to the cloud needs of large enterprise clients. Acting as the point of technical escalation, you will need the technical depth to mentor and continually grow the team. Working in multiple environments and continually switching context from client to client, you will need to thrive in an environment of fast-paced challenges and continuous change. Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance serving as advocate and support for your team members
  • Set high standards for service excellence and communicate expectations clearly
  • Build new team skill sets and capabilities in the areas of observability and automated self-healing
  • Act as point of technical escalation and enablement
  • Set learning and career development objectives for each team member
  • Continuously improve service delivery processes
  • Assist in onboarding new clients
  • Design and implement automated provisioning and configuration frameworks in support of infrastructure-as-code using terraform
  • Design, implement, configure and manage system monitoring solutions that alert teams to problems before customers are impacted
  • Work closely with customers and other team members to understand complex requirements and translate them into automated solutions
  • Provide support to ensure mission critical applications and components are being monitored and meet security, reporting and retention requirements as well as disaster recovery requirements of clients
  • Manage the SaaS and IT for the org: SSO, on/offboarding, etc

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Cloud Managed Service/SRE/DevOps experience
  • 4+ years of team management experience
  • Linux and Windows administration experience
  • Terraform experience
  • Containerization experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasker
  • Self starter
  • Team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One or more AWS Associate level certifications
  • Multi-cloud experience
  • Agile experience
  • Jira experience
  • Consulting experience

Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 plus bonus potential
